Speaker Training for Professionals Allied to Medicine (PAMs)
Presenting successfully, whether at congresses, or to your peers and colleagues in your hospital or institute, requires many skills. When you, as a Professional Allied to Medicine, are speaking to fellow professionals or to a non-expert audience, the key to an interesting and memorable presentation, where you keep their attention and interest, is to tailor your message, language, examples and slides to their needs and knowledge.
This seminar will enable the delegates to examine all the elements that make up a successful presentation. The session will be active, fun, practical and relevant, and will allow the delegates to fine tune their presenting skills, as well as learning new techniques. Delegates will be encouraged to make a series of short presentations to different audiences, to practise the points that are made during the seminar. In addition, they will have an opportunity to discuss the issues connected with presenting in their field, and get feedback on their performance.
