Objective
This seminar is designed to prepare the client for communicating successfully with the Americans. By the end of the training the client will have understood the key elements that lead to success in working with the Americans, as well as developing the communication skills essential to building successful business relationships with Americans.

Outline of seminar

1. Know Yourself
What are your cultural values and behaviour? What will you need to adapt to enable you to develop successful business relations with Americans?

2. Know the Americans
What are American cultural values and behaviour? How can you create a positive impression when doing business with them, and avoid causing unintended offence?

3. Deal with the Stereotypes
What stereotypes do you have about the Americans? How accurate are they? What stereotypes do the Americans have of you and your culture? How can you overcome any negative or stereotypical views?

4. Communicate Successfully with the Americans

Practice in doing business with the Americans:
